If your current sample collection could use a good string section, check out Sonokinetic Sultan Strings. This new multi-format sample library features original string samples that lend ordinary string ensemble performances an authentic Middle Eastern vibe.

Sultan Strings focuses on live performances by one of the world’s best Middle Eastern string ensembles and royalty-free, custom composed Arabian styled phrases, according to Sonokinetic. Three violins, one viola, and one cello make up this performance sampling string ensemble.

The collection offers 16 instrument patches, including 50 tempo-synced 2 bar phrases, sustains (with dynamic crossfading to vibrato), tremolos, trills, and glissandi. Over 5,500 samples are included.

Although Sultan Strings focuses on the user interfaces of Native Instruments Kontakt format, other core sample audio formats (EXS24, HALion, Apple Loops) are available too, making this collection accessible to every producer and composer.
