Symbols of the resourcefulness and success against persecution, the Cajon and the Bongos are undeniably linked to the African heritage that traveled from the borders of its native homeland to the shores of Cuba. So much impact has this small wooden box and a pair of two small drums to the island that both instruments have become linked to the Cuban culture as well. Tonehammer Cajongo brings honor to the tradition of the Cajon and the Bongo via replication of the nuances and character of both instruments in an electronic package.

The Cajongo, as the name suggests, highlights two instruments: the Cajon and the Bongo. These samples have been meticulously recorded to capture all possible articulations and nuances of these instruments ranging from finger playing to sticks. As a bonus, clap, snap, and stick ensembles are also included in the package.
