Tonehammer Epic Toms Volume 1 library

Multi-sampled toms perfect for action cues and sound effects.
It's a 5-man percussion ensemble, utilizing 3 small to medium sized bass drums, 2 floor toms and the biggest rack tom we could find, all recorded in a large, bright hall. The hall has a very high ceiling and the room shape is very asymmetrical. Most of the surfaces in the space are glass, tile and stone. The drums were recorded in 120-degree stereo, from about 12 feet away. This is one of our favorite libraries, recorded during a 3-hour long session with some of our closest friends. Please note that drums are not individually sampled. Rather, all drums are played together in single, massive ensemble strikes.There is also a selection of male vocal ensemble shouts included. This library is especially well-suited for extremely dynamic epic percussion parts. It was designed specifically for use in epic soundtracks and trailers.

Toms perfect for raging battle scenes or when you just need a really loud boom.
It's a 5-man percussion ensemble, utilizing Octabans, Rototoms and 11”, 12” and 13” rack toms, in a large, bright hall. The hall has a very high ceiling and the room shape is very asymmetrical. Most of the surfaces in the space are glass, tile and stone. The drums were recorded in 120-degree stereo, from about 12 feet away. This is one of our favorite libraries, recorded during a 3-hour long session with some of our closest friends. Please note that drums are not individually sampled. Rather, all drums are played together in single, massive ensemble strikes. This library is especially well-suited for extremely dynamic epic percussion parts. Throw on a little EQ and compression and these drums can get pretty damn huge. This session represents the second portion of our Tom Ensemble recording series. As always, we use our typical deep sampling process to capture an average of 8 velocity layers and 10 round robin variations per layer. If you happen to have a drum trigger pad, such as the Synesthesia Mandala, we highly recommend trying it out on our toms. They play like a dream.
